It\u2019s been an incredibly eventful 17 months. I\u2019ve had a ton to say, and in some respects the time to say it, but it\u2019s been a little overwhelming to consider how much there was to say and how much time it would take to say it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, in typical fashion of a procrastinator, it became easier to simply not say anything (even though, the need to say it kept growing exponentially).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I say need<\/em> because I have truly internalized that many people claim that writing is truly thinking<\/strong> and that one should do a lot of writing even if there is no audience (and for all intents and purposes, I have no audience, and I\u2019m fine with that).<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are two main thrusts that have made the past 17 months eventful<\/em>, health and technology. So much to write about each. Instead of my typical novel-length posts on each, I\u2019m going to do a longer series<\/em> on the health stuff (at least), whereas some of the tech posts will still be too long for comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The most recent tech change is connecting this blog to the Fediverse<\/strong> using the WordPress plugin ActivityPub. It was a crazy odyssey to get that to work (I\u2019ll eventually get to a post about that) but this morning, the connection went live (hence this first post, finally).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
