MOUNTAIN LAKES,
N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 2002--All Red Oak Software
Inc.® Interaction Integration(TM) products now deliver
full support for IBM Crossworlds(TM) and Crossworlds
Integrator(TM) through the general availability of the new
IBM Crossworlds Adapter.
Red Oak's Application
Integration Framework(TM) products - Legacy Integrator(TM),
Web Integrator(TM) and the Web Services Solution Pack(TM) -
enable all terminal and web-based applications to be
programmatically integrated, through the adapter, with IBM
Crossworlds. This new capability provides Java developers
with the same AIF connectivity already available and being
utilized with IBM's Websphere® Application Server.
Each AIF product includes a Software Development Kit and
Runtime Environment, enabling all 390, AS/400, Digital, Unix
and Web-based application interactions to be integrated into
any of the major enterprise systems supported by IBM
Crossworlds. These include SAP, Siebel, Peoplesoft and JD
Edwards, among many others. This new functionality allows
large corporations to capitalize on their massive investment
in mainframe systems and extend their reach to the
Internet-based applications necessary for eBusiness.
The
SDKs also include an inline testing facility to insure that
the appropriate interactions and functions have been
captured. Any number of application interactions, from the
same or different application systems, can be combined,
dramatically increasing the power of the integration.
"As a good IBM® partner since our inception, we are
extremely pleased to support both Crossworlds and the rest
of the Websphere family with all of our products. We are
confidant that our Interaction Integration solutions will
prove to be powerful options for significant Crossworlds
integration projects," said George Cummings, Red Oak
president and chief executive officer.
"IBM has always
been the leader in integration, with their MQ series
products. The acquisition of Crossworlds, with its quality
reputation, proves that IBM continues to be extremely
serious about the enterprise application integration
market."
